01-30-2010 John Bowne High School, Flushing NY. Secondary Agricultural Education teacher of plant science. The department currently has eight full-time teachers of agriculture and boasts a comprehensive curriculum and excellent teaching facilities encompassing all aspects of the field. We maintain a four acre land laboratory complete with animal barns, greenhouses, field crops, and orchard, and a plant nursery, as well as an extensive agricultural mechanics shop. 02-01-2010 North Fayette High School. 9-12 Agricultural Education Instructor and FFA Advisor. North Fayette High School is located in West Union, Iowa in the beautiful hills of northeast Iowa. The school district also includes the communities of Fayette, Hawkeye, Alpha, and Eldorado. The North Fayette FFA Chapter boasts a record of outstanding achievement at both the state and national level. Qualities desired in an instructor include a passion for teaching and working with students, a commitment to agriculture and developing relationships with area agricultural entities, strong technology skills, and a solid background in agricultural economics and business, and agricultural science.
